On July 14, Beatrice Moulin had her first solo art exhibit since graduating from the University of the District of Columbia in Washington, D.C. In high school, she took technical drawing, which spawned her love of architecture. She recently graduated from the University of the District of Columbia with a Bachelor’s of Science in architecture. She is the new after-school program director for Contemporary School of the Arts and Gallery Inc.

  9. Film review: It's a 'Brave' new world

Longtime readers know that I'm a huge fan of the Disney computer animation division known as Pixar. I love their whimsy, their attention to detail, and their ability to pull on my heartstrings. I'll put in a good word for all of their films, from the highly well-regarded "Toy Story" series to the unfairly underpraised "Cars" movies. Pixar has kept up the good work with their latest offering, "Brave".
