The dream of a state championship is only alive at 20, 11-man schools across the state. For four teams in each classification, only one win stands between heartbreak, and playing in the ultimate high school football game. Ten schools will see their season come to an end, while the other 10 will make it to Thanksgiving weekend. 6A: Hutchinson 29, Derby 28 -- Final
Hutch gets an interception to seal a 1-point victory and a trip to Topeka to take on Shawnee Mission West in the 6A state title game.
Turner gets in the end zone from a yard out and the Salthawks go for a 2-point conversion and get it to take the lead with 54 seconds left.
Derby goes back on top with a 9-yard touchdown pass from Shantz to DeAndre Goolsby with six minutes left in the game.
No one can get separation in this game. Hutch takes advantage of a fumbled punt to get a 1-yard Trevor Turner touchdown to tie the game late in the third.
Shantz puts the Panthers back on top with a 1-yard run in the third quarter.
Hutch not giving in and strikes with a 57-yard touchdown pass from Trevor Turner to Evan Gaines-Grissom to tie it back up.
Derby is back on top with a 17-yard touchdown run from Chandler Shantz.
Hutch ties it up in the second quarter with a 3-yard Will Smith plunge into the end zone.

5A: Bishop Carroll 45, Salina South 21 -- Final
Bishop Carroll will go to Emporia to face Bishop Miege in the state championship game.
Hernandez gets in the end zone and Mike Jones answers with a long touchdown for South. Less than four minutes left.
Tory Smith gets a 60-yard touchdown run to ice the game for Carroll.
Palmer hits Denning for a 22-yard touchdown to extend the lead in the fourth.
Daniel Ohm takes advantage of a late turnover to hit a 28-yard field goal to add to Carroll's lead as time expired in the first half.
Jalen Hernandez takes it in for Carroll from 14 yards out to put the Golden Eagles up.
Justin Stonebraker ties it with a 10-yard touchdown run for the Cougars.
Palmer keeps it and goes straight ahead for a 1-yard touchdown to put Carroll on top.
Zeke Palmer hits Matt Denning on a 59-yard touchdown pass to tie it up.
Salina South gets a 29-yard touchdown run from Cody Busby to cap its opening drive.
4A: Holton 28, Mulvane 6 -- Final
Holton will advance to the state championship game in Salina to face Eudora.
Mulvane breaks up the shutout with a 38-yard touchdown pass from Ty Reddington to Nolan Smith with 32 seconds left.
Lane Lassiter pounds it in from 2 yards out to extend the Holton lead with a minute left.
Holton is pulling away with Karn's second touchdown run of the game, this one from 6 yards out.
Holton is in control early with a 19-yard touchdown run from Cameron Karn to go up by two scores.
Holton is on the board with a 19-yard touchdown pass from Jaxson Wright to Tyler Burdiek.
3A: Scott City 42, Beloit 26 -- Final
The Beavers are heading to Hutchinson to take on Silver Lake in the state title game.
Scott City gets it right back with an 80-yard kickoff return from Buehler.
Beloit not going quietly, getting a 75-yard touchdown pass from Vetter to Stanten Krone to get back in it with eight minutes to go.
O'Neil finds Drew Kite for a 21-yard touchdown pass to beat the Trojans' defense.
After a back-and-forth first half, Scott City is starting to pull away. Buehler scores a 15-yard touchdown for the Beavers.
The Beavers get the Trojans with a 41-yard touchdown pass from O'Neil to Tyler Hess.
Beloit retakes the lead late in the half with Vetter's second touchdown of the game late in the half. This time Vetter scored from 3 yards out.
Drew Kite catches a Brett O'Neil pass for a 6-yard touchdown to put the Beavers on top.
Beloit regains the lead on a 13-yard touchdown run from Payton Vetter.
The shootout is on with Dalton Buehler going 45 yards for a Scott City touchdown to give the Beavers the lead.
Beloit strikes first and strikes quickly, scoring in less than a minute and a half into the game on a 73-yard Bowe Behymer run.
2-1A: Meade 34, LaCrosse 12 -- Final
Meade is on to the state championship game in Hays to face Centralia.
LaCrosse gets back in it with a 50-yard touchdown run.
A Jett Little touchdown helps Meade extend the lead.
Meade goes up on a Chris Hardaway touchdown from a yard out.
