WICHITA, Kan.—
Reggie Williams, senior, has played basketball since the age of five. His father got him involved with the game that later on became his passion. "My dad started working with me,” Williams said. “Then I played biddy."
His favorite part of the game is right before they announce him when he is standing in front of all the people and the national anthem is playing.
Williams gets excitement from the competitiveness of the game. That brought out the best of his playing skills, it keeps him motivated to play well for the team.
"I'm focusing on winning the game and doing my job," Williams said.
Williams' role in the team is to keep them motivated to win the game. He has done everything he can since he began playing at Southeast. He is averaging 8.5 points-per-game for Southeast this season, which has him as the fourth-leading scorer for the Golden Buffaloes.
Southeast is 7-7 overall this season and 5-6 in the City League.
