Max Wine Festival Grand Tasting: More than 100 wines will be poured at this tasting event Nov. 10, held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the City Place Atrium in Hartford. VIP passes gain you early admission and access to two seminars hosted by Max beverage director Brian Mitchell, covering Pinot Noir and Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The finale event, Max Chefs' Showcase Dinner, will be held Nov. 11 at 5:30 p.m. at Max Downtown. The gala event brings together all eight of the Max restaurants' executive chefs, each of whom will prepare a signature dish.
