Miss Bittner is the daughter of Roy and Janet Bittner, Somerset. She is a 2002 graduate of Somerset Area High School and a 2006 graduate of Seton Hill University, Greensburg with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. She is employed by B&W Y-12, Oak Ridge, Tenn.
Her fiance is the son of Susan Daffron and Tom Daffron, Friendsville, Tenn. He is a 2004 graduate of William Blount High School, Maryville, Tenn. He is employed by Green Meadow Country Club, Alcoa, Tenn. and UPS, Maryville, Tenn.
An Aug. 20 wedding is planned.
