The Rev. Barry Ritenour's sermon title is "Strong Coffee" taken from Mark 13:32-37. Bethany worship begins at 9 a.m. with Christian education opportunities for all ages at 10:15 a.m. Children's activities on Sunday include a children's moment. They will be caroling right after Sunday school. Lunch will be served first.

Middlecreek COB
The Middlecreek Church of the Brethren will be celebrating the second Sunday of Advent. The Rev. John Stoner will be speaking on Isaiah 11:1-10. His message is"Make Way for the Savior of the World." The Rev. Linda Stoner will lead the worship.
On Sunday evening the church will be offering its Live Nativity once more. Guests will be invited to join the congregation in celebrating an "Old-Fashioned German Christmas" from 6:30 until 8 p.m. in the social hall as well. There is no charge.
Worship begins at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday. The church is at 226 Middlecreek Road, Rockwood.
Berlin Brethren
The third Sunday of Advent will be celebrated in the Berlin Brethren Church with the Rev. Tom Sprowls' sermon, "Being a Parent of Jesus" Part 5 at both the 8 a.m. praise and worship service and 10:30 a.m. traditional worship service. Fellowship is at 9:15 a.m. and Sunday school for all ages at 9:30 a.m. A spaghetti dinner and talent show sponsored by the 7th and 8th grade girls beginning at 11:45 a.m. in the church social hall to raise funds for the Invisible Children.
A Community Combined Bell Concert is at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Berlin Brothersvalley High School auditorium. Youth bells will rehearse at 6:10 p.m. Youth and official board will meet at 7 p.m.
The Fitness Club will exercise at 7 p.m. Monday and Thursday in the basement of the Brick Coffee House. Prayer Watch is at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday and 7 p.m. Wednesday. The Mission Thrift Shoppe is open from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
Adult bells will rehearse at 7 p.m. Wednesday and senior choir at 8 p.m.
The nursery and primary departments' annual Christmas party is 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday in the Brick Coffee House. Hoagies and pumpkin rolls are available to raise funds for the Camp Peniel Lodge Fund by calling the church office at 814-267-3863.

The Christadelphians meet at 176 Beckner Lane, Boswell. This Sunday they are having a 10 a.m. Bible study class and an 11 a.m. memorial service. For more information, call 814-629-5289.
