  15. Doris Jeanne Weyand, 65, of Oakdale, formerly of Somerset

    Doris Jeanne Weyand, 65, of Oakdale, formerly of Somerset, died July 19, 2012. She is the daughter of the late Glenn and Alta Tannehill of Confluence. She was a graduate of Turkeyfoot Valley High School class of 1965 and West Penn School of Nursing. Doris spent her entire career in nursing, most recently at Kindred Healthcare in Oakdale. She enjoyed cooking, camping, gardening and most of all her family. She is survived by her daughter Julie Scott of Oakdale; daughter Amy and son-in-law Vince Litterini of Nottingham, N.H.; and son Matthew and daughter-in-law Brooke Weyand of Festus, Mo.; as well as grandsons Kenny and Kyle Scott and granddaughter Jessie Scott. She is also survived by sister Peggy (and Scott Jr.) Kreger; brothers David, Richard, Paul and James (and Brenda) Tannehill, as well as several nieces and nephews. A memorial visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday with a memorial service immediately following at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence. Interment will be at Jersey Hollow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in memory of Doris to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org.
