1. Urban Brings Back "We're All For The Hall"

Keith Urban has plans to take over Nashville once again, as he has announced the fourth-annual We’re All For The Hall benefit concert! This year’s show has adopted a “Rebels and Renegades” theme, to “celebrate the outlaws this year.” Keith is looking forward to raising more money for The Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum, and seeing his pals like Vince Gill take over the stage! “There’s effortlessness in playing with Vince because he’s just very generous as a collaborative musician on stage. He doesn’t need to dominate anything. We play very, very effortlessly together. I rather liken it to just two little kids laying a field looking up at clouds. And just making shapes out of them—that’s what playing with Vince feels like.” We’re All For The Hall will also feature performances by Trace Adkins, Eric Church, Roseanne Cash, Brantley Gilbert,Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn, Billy Joe Shaver, and Tim McGraw. Keith first organized the show in 2010, and has since raised approximately $1.5 million for The Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum. The concert will take place at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on April 16th, and tickets go on sale through Ticketmaster on March 1st.

  13. Instead of speeding tickets, city could offer the Ticketmaster kind

Probably nothing else needs to be said about the Ticketmaster issue, especially after the well-written letter from Barbara Blumberg ("Ticketmaster is a scalper by another name," March 6). However, it should be pointed out that Ticketmaster is just one more e-business, like Microsoft, that sells a product that costs almost nothing after its initial development costs are recovered and charges phenomenally high rates. And like Microsoft, it has recovered its development costs long ago and has the capacity to generate incredible profits — well beyond those possible in brick and mortar businesses.
