8. 'Gimme the Loot' director says film 'hit the jackpot'

With its loose, freewheeling style, the unassuming "Gimme the Loot" has already led something of a charmed life. The film picked up the grand jury prize when it premiered at the South by Southwest film festival last year, going on to play the prestigious New Directors/New Films series in New York and be an official selection at the Cannes Film Festival. 22. Kate Upton happy with her Sports Illustrated body, career

Sports Illustrated celebrated this year's swimsuit edition with a launch party Tuesday night in NYC. Models from the issue chatted about the differences in their kind of modeling and that of the runway models taking part in New York Fashion Week. For one thing, the girls in swimsuits tend to be shorter (several of them are around 5-9). For another, they are much, much curvier. "I don't really focus on other girls," cover girl Kate Upton said."I think everyone has a different body type. .. I don’t go out and compete with other girls." [The Cut]
