UConn Football Team Harvesting Home-Grown Talent; Six State Players In Fold

On national signing day, the focus was local. The UConn football program unveiled its class of 24 recruits Wednesday, but coach Paul Pasqualoni kicked off his press conference by citing the six from Connecticut. Pasqualoni, a Cheshire native, ran down the list of state recruits, tossing out names of their high school coaches and referencing state champions with an authentic familiarity.
