  17. Frank John Paneno May 4, 1936 - March 2, 2013

    Frank John Paneno was born on May 4, 1936 in Los Angeles and passed away on March 2, 2013 in Santa Rosa at the age of 76 after a long and courageous battle with Progressive&nbsp; Supranuclear Palsy. Frank graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Animal Husbandry and continued his education at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles raising his family in La Crescenta. He was a law clerk for Edwards, Edwards &amp; Ashton and later took a job as a hearing representative for Wausau Insurance Company. He retired in 1991 on his ranch in San Luis Obispo. Frank served in the Navy ROTC for four years and in the Marine Corps for five years and was honorably discharged in 1967. He was a member of the La Crescenta Sportsmen Club, American Legion Post 66, and the Central Coast Cutting Association, and he served on the Grand Jury for the County of San Luis Obispo, and the Animal Science Board at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. His many hobbies included hunting, fishing, photography, horseback riding and snow skiing. In his retirement he enjoyed raising cattle and horses and competing in Cutting and Reining competitions with the Central Coast Cutting Association. With the diagnosis of PSP, Frank relocated to Santa Rosa to be closer to family. Frank&rsquo;s greatest joy was to spend time
