AAUW to hold used book sale
The local chapter of the American Association of University Women will hold its fall used book sale Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Arc of Washington County, 1000 Florida Ave. in Hagerstown.
Salem Reformed Church plans festival Saturday
Salem Reformed Church, at 13182 Salem Church Road (off Cearfoss Pike), will hold its annual Kids Fest and trunk-or-treat Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m.
The church’s clothes closet will be open.

North Hagerstown Lions Club holding fundraiser
The North Hagerstown Lions Club is selling Sheetz coupon books for $10.
The books have a value of more than $25 and do not expire until June 30, 2015.
The club is also selling the bonus book for $32 which has an expiration date of Dec. 2, 2013.
The coupons can be used in the Tri-State area.
Proceeds will go to local nonprofit agencies.

The Women’s Club, at 31 S. Prospect St. in Hagerstown, invites the public to its annual fall fest on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
