  • Valentine's party planned

    St. John’s UCC will host a Valentine’s celebration Friday. Tickets are on sale for the steak dinner (by Ernst Market), along with a dessert buffet and entertainment by Ricochet, from Martinsburg W.Va. Tickets cost $20 per person and must be purchased in advance. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the dinner is at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited. Proceeds will benefit the St. John’s building fund.

    Wilson Ruritan Club will hold a country butchering and pancake breakfast on Saturday, Feb. 12, beginning at 6:30 a.m. The breakfast will be held at the Ruritan Club, just west of Huyetts Crossroads on U.S. 40.
