Brownsville Church of the Brethren invites the community to its annual Christmas bazaar Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
Themed gift baskets, freshly made food, baked goods and other items will be available for purchase.
The church is on Md. 67 south of Rohrersville, and has held this event for more than two decades.
Mount Nebo Christian Preschool will hold a Spirit of Christmas Extravaganza Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Baked goods, food and drinks will be available, and several direct sales vendors will be in attendance.
Santa Claus will make an appearance for visits and photos, and children’s holiday activities will be ongoing so parents can get some holiday shopping done.

The American Legion Auxiliary of Boonsboro will hold its annual children’s Christmas party Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the post home. On Saturday, those interested in the art of rug hooking are invited to come in to learn, visit and share. Call the library for times.
A cookie exchange will be held Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 6 p.m. Bring a dozen of your favorite holiday cookies. Swap with other attendees and leave with a dozen new cookies to try. All recipes will be provided.
Family Fun Day will be Saturday, Dec. 8, beginning at 10:15 a.m. It will include crafts, storytelling by Crystal Brown and the showing of the movie “Arthur Christmas.”
