St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church will hold its annual holiday cookie sale Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. There will be a variety of cookies and candy to purchase.
The cookies will be bagged six per bag and customers can mix and match a cookie tray.
There will also be soups and sandwiches for carryout only. Soups cost $6 per quart.
Most sandwiches cost $2.75 each. Country ham sandwiches will cost $3.50 each.
The church is at 1020 Maryland Ave. across from South End Shopping Center.
The community is invited to a Christmas cookie celebration and holiday bazaar Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church.
The event will include cookies, crafts and lunch for sale.

Tuesday — The club will hold its monthly business and administrative meeting. Members are encouraged to bring their bag of change for the tea bag program.
On Friday, Dec. 14, club members and their families will attend a Christmas show at Antietam Recreation. The event includes dinner.
Beginning at 6 p.m., there will be activities including a wagon ride. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m.
Tickets cost $33 for those 12 to 59, $31 for those 60 and older and $24 for those 3 to 11. Tickets are limited to 50.
Choruses to perform
The Mason-Dixon Barbershop Chorus of Hagerstown will present its annual Christmas program Sunday at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, beginning at 3 p.m.
The chorus is under the direction of David Miller of Hagerstown.
In addition to the Hagerstown Chorus, the program will feature selections by the Freedom Valley Chorus, which is a Sweet Adelines Chorus from Chambersburg, Pa.
Barbershop quartets will sing, and there will be group singing of Christmas music by the audience. Light refreshments will be served following the performance.
The church is at 302 Summit Ave. in Hagerstown. There is no admission charge. A free-will offering will be accepted to defray expenses.

Recently in its annual charitable-giving program, Mason-Dixon Chorus contributed $500 each to the Community Free Clinic of Hagerstown and to the Maryland Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
