The church is “looking back” at the last 10 years and “Pressing Forward with Christ” in the next 10 years. It is also celebrating the beginning of the 10th year of Pastor Bob and Joy Stone at the church.
The service will include music by the Mellott Sisters, Dan Fleming on the saxophone and a choir composed of everyone who sang in the choir in the last 10 years.
At 12:30 p.m., there will be a carry-in dinner at Clopper’s Grove Fellowship Hall. From now until Feb. 5, the church is collecting nonperishable food items, which will be donated to the Clear Spring Food Bank. A ticket will be given for each item donated and a drawing for a prize will take place before the dinner. The community is invited.

Did you know?
Did you know that the yellow house at 103 Cumberland St. used to be a clothing store? During the Civil War, the Rebels rode down the street, stopped in front of the store and shot the storekeeper right in his store.
