Also, teens won’t want to miss “Teens in Japan” at the library Tuesday, July 26, at 3 p.m. The event will explore Japanese culture and participants will make sweet sushi. Participants must be enrolled in the teen summer reading club or be 13 to 18 years old. Registration is required.

Summer fest
Mount Tabor Lutheran Church, 14615 Fairview Church Road, Hagers-town, will hold its summer festival Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. There will be soups, sandwiches, ice cream and a baked goods table. There will also be live music.
