College Night at Clear Spring High School will be Wednesday. The doors open at 5 p.m.
There will be sessions about financial aid, college essays, college coaching and other issues.
There will be several college and trade schools represented.
There will be a seminar by Dynamite Sports.
Dinner for seniors
Elaine Moats, along with family and friends, will host a free Thanksgiving dinner for senior citizens Saturday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Wilson Ruritan Club.
It will be their 18th year hosting the dinner.
Thanksgiving dinner
St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Big Pool will host a Thanksgiving dinner Saturday at 5 p.m.
The meal costs $8 per person for a Thanksgiving meal including all the trimmings.
Also, at St. Paul’s United Methodist, on Saturday, Nov. 24, from 3 to 9 a.m., a hunter’s breakfast will be available.
All are welcome to come to the breakfast, which opens at 3 a.m. for the convenience of hunters.
It will include a buffet breakfast with sausage, chipped beef gravy, biscuits, eggs and fried potatoes.
The cost will be by donation.
Grange meeting
Pomona Grange will meet at the Wacohu Grange Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
There will be a covered-dish dinner with meat and drinks provided.

Library news
The Clear Spring Library will have Needle Expressions Thursday at 6 p.m.
It will be an evening for those who knit, crochet, cross-stitch, embroider, etc., to meet at the library for two hours of social crafting.
Bring your project and a cup; the library will provide the coffee.
Also at the library, “Make one/Take one Ornament” will be Saturday and Sunday. Make an ornament for the library Christmas tree and one to take home. The materials will be available during library hours.
