Garden club speaker
Crossroads Garden Club, which is part of the Women’s Club, invites the community to its annual fundraiser, “The Greens Show and Afterglow,” Sunday, Nov. 11, at 2 p.m. at the club.
The presenter will be David Shover, a floral designer who travels around the country presenting floral-design shows and workshops.
Door prizes of some of the presenter’s floral creations, raffles of gift baskets and refreshments are included in the $12 ticket price.

Mildred Hluchy presented the program, which was about her life story and her struggles. She said losing weight is only half of the battle; keeping it off is the other half.
