Elks Lodge 278, at 326 N. Jonathan St., will offer chicken and fish dinners  Friday night and Saturday at 6 p.m. and next weekend, Friday, Jan. 25, and Saturday, Jan. 26.

Revival is this weekend

Greater Campher Temple, 125 Bethel St., will hold a revival Friday night at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 4 p.m.

Bishop Sterling V. Porter of Kingdom Life Cathedral near Charles Town, W.Va., will lead the revival.

 

Movie night

Bridge of Life Church, 14 S. Potomac St., will hold movie night Saturday at 7 p.m. The movie, popcorn and drinks are free.

MLK dinner set

There will be a Martin Luther King Jr. Call for Service Potluck Dinner Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Memorial Recreation Center, 109 W. North Ave.

Admission is a covered dish to share.

A discussion on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy will be part of the activities.

 

LL rules clinic

Maryland District 1 Little League will conduct a free rules clinic for umpires, managers, and league officers on Tuesday nights starting Feb. 5 through March 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Church of Christ, 19644 Leitersburg Pike.

New rules/rule changes for baseball and softball regarding but not limited to illegal bat penalties, pitch count changes and new softball bat regulations will be covered as well as the basic rules of the game.
