Flu clinics
The Washington County Health Department will hold flu vaccination clinics at the health department’s main building at 1302 Pennsylvania Ave. Friday from 1 to 4:30 p.m. and Friday, Jan. 25, from 1 to 4:30 p.m.
Medicare is accepted for adult vaccination, but no other insurance will be billed. A donation of $20 is appreciated.

Guest speaker
Carol Poyner, a long-time member of Bridge of Life, will be the guest speaker Sunday during the morning services. As a teacher for many years, she saw her students gain understanding that sent them to the next level. Now, ministering in the prophetic and inner healing, Poyner ministers to those who need spiritual understanding to take them to a higher level.
‘Courageous to be shown’
The Zion Baptist Church ministry will show the movie “Courageous” Saturday, Feb. 2, at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall of the church, at 61 W. Bethel St.
The doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Admission costs $2 per person, which includes free popcorn and drink. Hot dogs will be available for purchase.
Proceeds will benefit the ministry’s outreach efforts.
