The health department, at 1302 Pennsylvania Ave., will offer clinics Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday and Friday, Jan. 25, from 1 to 4:30 p.m.
Medicare is accepted; however, no other insurance will be billed. A donation of $20 is accepted.
Oratorical contest
The American Legion High School Oratorical Contest will be Monday, Feb. 4, at 7 p.m. at Dixon-Troxell Post 211 in Funkstown.
The public is invited.
The post-level contest is open to all local Washington County high school students in grades nine to 12, including home-schooled students.
There are several levels of competition in the county, leading to the finals in Indianapolis, where scholarships are presented to three finalists in the final round.
Cash awards will be determined for each local oratorical contest, including the American Legion post level, county level, district level and the American Legion Department of Maryland level.
