The Texas Roadhouse will hold a fundraiser for the South Hagerstown High School Touchdown Club from Oct. 22 to 25 from 4 to 10 p.m. each night.
The Dual Highway restaurant will donate 10 percent of food sales to the touchdown club when you present a flier. Fliers can be picked up at the school or through any team member.
Women’s Club news
The Women’s Club, at 31 S. Prospect St. in Hagerstown, will hold its fall fest Saturday, Oct. 27 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There will be baked items, and garden goodies, as well as soups and sandwiches, and 10 different vendors.

The Women’s Club will hold a Halloween card party Wednesday, Oct. 31, at noon.
Attendees can play card or board games while having lunch. The cost is $12.

Driver safety course offered free to veterans
The Washington County Commission on Aging and AARP are offering the AARP driver safety course for free to veterans in November.
AARP appreciates your dedication and service to our country. That’s why it is saying thanks by offering a free classroom course or 50 percent off the online course to all military veterans and their dependents from Nov. 1 to 30.
