Happy Thanksgiving. I hope your traditions, new and old, are celebrated and enjoyed this week.
Dinner planned at church Thursday
Boonsboro Bible Church will host a community Thanksgiving dinner Thursday from noon to 4 p.m. The dinner is free and open to the public.
The church is at 6741 Old National Pike in Boonsboro.

Bullying seminar set
“Not Minding Your Own Business — Bullying and the Bystander” will be presented by local attorney Ann Rotz Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boonsboro.
The documentary film titled “Bullied: A Student, A School, and A Case That Made History” will be shown.
The program begins at 4:30 p.m. with light refreshments followed by the presentation and discussion of the documentary at 5 p.m.
The community is invited.
Cookie walk planned
On Saturday, Dec. 8, Trinity Lutheran Church in Boonsboro will hold a cookie walk from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
An assortment of holiday cookies will be available for purchase.
All proceeds will support the local efforts of Micah’s Backpack, a program providing weekend nutrition to area children.
