The Interfaith Service Coalition will sponsor a Vera Bradley/designer handbag bingo event Sunday at the Hancock Fire Hall.
The doors open at noon, and games begin at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $25 for 20 games and four specials.
Tickets purchased in advance will be entered in a drawing for a free 30-minute chair massage.
Participants are asked to bring a nonperishable food item for the food bank and receive an extra set of specials. For tickets, call the ISC at 301-678-6605.
The Rotary Club of Hancock is accepting applications for entries for the 64th annual Halloween parade to be held Wednesday, Oct. 26, at 7:30 p.m.
This is one of the most popular area parades held in the evening. Local clubs and organizations sponsor food booths before the parade.
Entries line up in the park and march through town, past stores and homes decorated for Halloween.
The deadline for entries is Oct. 21.
The rain date is Oct. 27.

Movie to be shown
The movie “Spooky Buddies” will be shown Saturday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Hancock Public Library.

Join the benefit ride Saturday for local Hancock musician Tori Anderson, who is battling Systemic Scleroderma.
The ride begins and ends at Martin “Marty” Snook Memorial Park in Halfway, Pavilion 4. Registration is at 10:30 a.m. and the ride starts at noon.
It costs $15 for riders, and $10 for passengers. Lunch and raffles will be offered.
