Zion Baptist Church, at 61 Bethel St. in Hagerstown, will hold a free health and fitness expo Saturday, Oct. 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The community is invited.
There will be presentations on healthy eating and exercising. Attendees will hear success stories from those who have lost weight. There will also be demonstrations and health screenings. There will be information on skin care, hair styling and spiritual dancing, as well as karate demonstrations and gospel music. Local businesses will be on hand with information about healthy living.

Dinner planned
The Men of Ebenezer AME Church will host a spaghetti dinner at Christ Reformed Church, 130 W. Franklin St., Saturday, starting at 5:30 p.m.
The menu includes homemade spaghetti with meat sauce, tossed salad, garlic bread, dessert, iced tea or water.
The meal costs $8 per person.
The program will include a hymn sing.
Gallery event
On Saturday and Sunday, from 1 to 6 p.m., Just Lookin’ Gallery, at 40 Summit Ave., will feature Jamaal Sheats, who will demonstrate his craft while creating a new aluminum repoussé work, which he is donating as a door prize.
Refreshments will be served.
Civil War documentary
A showing of the documentary “Divided Valor: Hagerstonians in the Civil War” will be Saturday at the Bridge of Life Church, 14 S. Potomac St. in Hagerstown.
The 60-minute documentary profiles the adventures and accomplishments of six Hagerstown residents — two Union soldiers, two Confederate soldiers and two civilians.
The movie presentation will be the conclusion of a daylong heritage-based street festival around Public Square, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the founding of Hagerstown.
The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The festival is free. There will be a nominal ticket fee for the documentary.
