The BHS Class of 1963 reunion committee meets the last Thursday of each month to catch up, stay in touch and plan class events. 

The class will meet Thursday at 8 a.m. at Bob Evans restaurant on Railway Lane in Hagerstown (near Valley Mall). All classmates are welcome.

Spaghetti dinner

There will be a spaghetti dinner Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Washington County Agricultural Education Center’s multipurpose building, 7313 Sharpsburg Pike, Boonsboro. The proceeds will benefit the Washington County Ag Expo and Fair. 

The menu includes spaghetti with meat sauce or plain sauce, and several accompaniments. 

Tickets cost $8 for adults, $5 for those ages 5 to 10 and are free for those younger than 5.

Oyster dinner

An oyster, turkey and ham dinner will be held Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. at Benevola United Methodist Church on Benevola Church Road off Alternate U.S. 40 between Funkstown and Boonsboro. 

Tickets cost $15 for adults and $7 for those younger than 10.

Ham and sauerkraut

On Saturday, March 9, Mount Nebo United Methodist Church, 134 S. Main St., Boonsboro, is extends an invitation to the Boonsboro greater community to join a Community Fellowship Dinner in the Church’s Family Life Center. 

The dinner is free and open to all. 

The meal includes ham and sauerkraut, potatoes and vegetables. There will also be a children’s menu that will include peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, hot dogs and macaroni and cheese. 

Desserts will be offered, along with an evening of entertainment for children and adults. Church members will also be available for child/infant care so the parents can enjoy the event.

The dinner will be served between 5:30 and 7 p.m., with two hours of  scheduled “square dancing” to follow.
