James Western “Peter Rabbit” Lockley, 67, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore.

Born Saturday, July 21, 1945, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late James Combs and the late Mary K. (Lockley) Clark.

He attended North Hagerstown High School.

He was employed at various businesses over the years.

He is survived by his two daughters, Rosa McDowell of Hagerstown and Deanna Arzapalo of West Palm Beach, Fla.; sister, Frances Lockley of Hagerstown; brothers, Raymond Lockley and Bryan Scott and wife, Sharon, all of Hagerstown; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services and interment will be private.

The family will receive friends Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, from 2 to 7 p.m. at Calvary Temple Apostolic Church, 350 N. Jonathan St., Hagerstown.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown.
