TOPS 0462

TOPS, or Take Off Pounds Sensibly, Chapter 0462 in Smithsburg had a good weigh-in with each member recording a loss.

Sally was the thinner winner with a 2.2-pound loss. John was back on track with a 3-pound loss.

John led the program on never giving up in reaching your goal weight. He said people fall down, but winners get up. He said gold medal winners get up faster. He said just because you slip on your weight-loss goal, never give up; get back up.

The chapter meets Thursdays at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 51 S. Main St. in Smithsburg. Weigh-in starts at 5:30 p.m. and the meeting is from 6 to 7 p.m.

For more information, call John at 717-749-3023 or go to www.tops.org.
