Former area basketball standout Lee Green will hold the 2012 Preseason Elite Skills Clinic Saturday, Oct. 20, from 9 a.m. to noon at St. Maria Goretti High School in Hagerstown.
The clinic will include player development, teaching the fundamentals and advance skills, including ball handling, shooting, defender control and finishing moves.
The clinic is geared for boys and girls in grades five through 12.
The instructors will include Green, Phil Lane, Rodney Gibson and Jen Piccolomini.
The clinic costs $40 or bring a friend and receive $20 off registration.

Masquerade ball on Oct. 26 benefits Doleman Museum
The Friends of Doleman Black Heritage Museum invites the community to the fifth annual “A Masquerade Ball with a Cotton Club Twist” Friday, Oct. 26, from 8 p.m. to midnight at Cortland Mansion in Hagerstown.
The doors open at 7 p.m.
The event will feature the unveiling of a new collection exhibit, raffles, music by The Darrell Jackson Project, professional photographs by Youngblood Studios and Hagerstown Native Naki (Claiborne) Frieson as the mistress of ceremonies. Masks are optional.
A donation of $50 per person is requested. It is the annual fundraiser for the Doleman Black Heritage Museum Inc.
Cortland Mansion is at 19411 Cortland Drive in Hagerstown.

Breakfast planned
The Men of Ebenezer AME Church will host a breakfast Saturday from 7 to 11 a.m. at 26 W. Bethel St. in Hagerstown.
The menu includes eggs, sausage or bacon, fried potatoes and onions, biscuits and gravy, juice or coffee.
The breakfast costs $6. It will be eat-in or take-out.
