Maugansville Elementary PTA holding fundraiser

It's time for the Maugansville PTA's fall Wolfgang fundraiser.

The sale began Monday, Sept. 26 and runs through Monday, Oct. 17.


Orders will be available for pickup on Monday, Dec. 5, just in time for the holidays.

This is the largest fundraiser for the school. The proceeds go toward student field trips and support activities such as Encore programs.

The PTA also hopes to give each student a free book from the school's book fair and a free Maugansville T-shirt.

Senior Friendship Club to meet Tuesday

The Maugansville Senior Friendship Club will meet at Tops Chinese restaurant on Tuesday at noon.

The public is invited. Bring a friend along.

Members are reminded to bring donations for the flea market table and to bring houseplants to exchange.

Members will also review the club bylaws.

Spaghetti dinner planned Oct. 8

The Maugansville Ruritan will provide an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner Saturday, Oct. 8, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Maugansville Fire Department.

The menu includes spaghetti, tossed salad, Italian bread and beverage. Tickets cost $7 for adults and $3 for those ages 6 to 12. Those ages 5 and younger eat free.

Baked goods will also be available.

Proceeds benefit the Maugansville Fire Department.
