The 31st annual Maugansville Pride Day will be Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Ruritan Park. Family, friends and neighbors will fill the park for a fun-filled day.
The event offers residents a way to show their pride in the community.
Remember, the Maugansville Historical Society will release the last in the "My Home Town" replica series at the gazebo. The replica will feature Maugansville Little League. Members will also have T-shirts for sale depicting the Little League field.

Glad I live here
I am so grateful the recent earthquake and hurricane did little damage to our area. After watching "The Weather Channel" almost hourly, listening to the nightly news and reading The Herald-Mail daily, I am so glad I live here.
I appreciate the people who help make our neighborhood a safe, friendly and beautiful place to live.
Our friendly post office workers get our mail delivered efficiently. Our volunteer firefighters are always ready to go help in an emergency and are willing to share their knowledge with others, especially with our young ones.
These are just a few of the services and support available in Maugansville. Life is good in our neighborhood.
