Salem Ave. kindergarten classes sing about reading
Students from Lauren Pangborn's kindergarten class at Salem Avenue perform "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Word." From left, Kelpy Tuttle, Ella Gross, Joshua Depadua, Willie Parker, Precious Taylor, Yara Solieman, Madyson Barney and Maya Peart. (Submitted photo)
Each of the five classes dressed in colors of the rainbow or animal characters.
The students performed songs such as, “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Words” and “Punctuation Melody” that told about the elements of reading.
It was an enjoyable way to show off all the reading skills that they have developed throughout the year.
Thanks to teachers Vickie Kane, Sandy Melton, Sara Dillow, Debbie Grass and Lauren Pangborn for their hard work.
