Diabetes program
The Diabetes Support Group at Walnut Towers, 12 S. Walnut St., will meet Wednesday, June 20, at 1:30 p.m. in the eighth-floor community room.
The program will be “Eating Healthy on a Budget” presented by Lisa Moran, community health advocate with Priority Partners.
The group is open not only to the individuals who live at Walnut Towers, but to anyone in the community.
A forum is provided for educating individuals with diabetes to help manage their disease and to gain support from others.

Old-fashioned dinner
There will be an old-fashioned turkey dinner at 462 Park Place on Sunday, June 24, beginning at noon.
The dinner costs $10.

It will be a fundraiser for the “For Our Kid’s Sake Bus Trip” to Dorney Park in Allentown, Pa., which is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 11.
Vacation Bible school
The vacation Bible school for Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 802 Summit Ave., will be held June 24-28 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Thus year’s theme is “Operation Overboard: Dare to go Deep with God.”
The classes are for those ages 4 to adult.
A light meal will be served from 5 to 5:45 p.m.
