Students and spouses of South Hagerstown High School’s Class of 1961 are invited to lunch at Next Dimensions restaurant on Old National Pike in Hagerstown.
The reunion lunch is planned Wednesday, starting at 11 a.m.
Mother’s Day Out program
The Mother’s Day Out preschool program at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 802 Summit Ave., is accepting registrations for the 2012-13 school year, which begins Sept. 4.
Those ages 4 months to 4 years attend the session from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. There is a $5 registration fee and the monthly fee is $50.
The children participate in socialization with other children in their respective classrooms, do crafts, have story time, sing songs, play games and bring their lunch every Tuesday.
The program operates on the public school schedule through the end of May.
The program has been a part of the church’s community outreach for 30 years.

Pet vaccination clinic
On Saturday, the Humane Society of Washington County will hold a free vaccination clinic for dogs and cats of county residents.
It will take place at the USMH courtyard, 32 W. Washington St., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The clinic is limited to county residents and proof of residency is required.
The vaccinations are Canine DHLPP, which includes distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza and parvovirus; and the Feline FVRCP, which includes panleukopenia, feline viral rhinotrachetis and calicivirus.
Rabies vaccinations will also be given to dogs and cats.
Proof of previous rabies vaccination is required to receive a three-year vaccination.
Dog licenses, which are required by county law, will also be available for purchase.
Licenses are to run concurrent with the length of a rabies vaccination.
The licenses cost $5 for a one-year license, $9 for two years, $13 for three years and $25 for a lifetime dog license.
