The community is invited to attend a pancake dinner Tuesday, Feb. 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 11833 Greenhill Drive off Jefferson Boulevard between Robinwood and Eastern boulevards.
The Presbyterian Church of Hagerstown, 20 S. Prospect St., and St. Andrew Presbyterian, 10813 Donelson Drive, Williamsport, are joining in the Shrove Tuesday celebration. Donations will be accepted.
The menu includes pancakes, sausage and beverages.
Ash Wednesday service
Covenant Presbyterian Church and the Presbyterian Church of Hagerstown are joining together for an Ash Wednesday service at 20 S. Prospect St. in downtown Hagerstown Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m. in the chapel.

Pancake breakfast set
Christ Reformed United Church of Christ on Cavetown Church Road in Cavetown will host an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast Saturday from 7 to 11 a.m.
The menu includes sausage, eggs, orange juice and coffee.
Tickets cost $5 for adults and $3 for those ages 6 to 12.

A health seminar titled CHIP, or Coronary Health Improvement Project, will be held Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Hagerstown Seventh-day Adventist Church, 11507 Robinwood Drive.
The workshop will provide information about heart disease, high blood pressure, adult onset diabetes, high cholesterol and obesity.

‘Annie Get Your Gun’
Smithsburg High School will present Irving Berlin’s “Annie Get Your Gun” Thursday, March 15, and Friday, March 16, at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, March 17, at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Tickets cost $8.
A dinner show is planned for Friday, March 16. Dinner will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $12.
The spaghetti dinner and show will benefit the sophomore class.
