South High to present 'The Wizard of Oz'

The South Hagerstown High School theater group will perform “The Wizard of Oz” at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and at 1 p.m. Sunday. Tickets cost $7 and will be sold at the door.

Seniors to meet

The Funkstown Senior Citizens will meet Monday, April 11, at 1 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Those 55 and older are invited to attend.

Science showcase

Emma K. Doub School for Integrated Arts and Technology will hold its science showcase Wednesday, April 13, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Barbecue planned

The sweet aroma of the Funkstown Fire Hall chicken barbecue is back. The next chicken, pit beef and ham sale will be Saturday, April 30, starting at 9:30 a.m.
