Softball league forming
The Washington County Senior Softball League will begin practice Monday, April 2, at 6 p.m. for its senior co-ed softball league.
Registration forms are available at Hagerstown City Park softball fields.
Registration costs $30.
Practices are Monday through Thursday during April, and the league expects to begin playing two games a week in May.
The league is adding a new team, since it had to turn players away last year.
All teams are formed through a draft system by age groups and the practice allows team managers to evaluate players.
Men (50 and older) and women (40 and older) are welcome to try out.
