Valentine event at Valley Mall

A Be My Valentine! event will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Valley Mall. Those ages 3 to 8 are invited to make Valentine crafts.

Activities will also include bingo, Valentine tattoos and other events. There will also be a free activity, prizes and giveaways while supplies last.

Scouts plan Derby Day

The Mason-Dixon Council of Boy Scouts of America will hold its Derby Day on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Center Court at Valley Mall.

The Scouts will race in three different events —  Pinewood Derby, Space Derby and Rain-gutter Regata.



Cycle event planned 

Cycle United, a cycling event to benefit United Way of Washington County, will be held Saturday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Valley Mall.

The mall will host the area’s top cycling instructors and gyms to teach eight hours of cycling. In the event of inclement weather, the snow date for the Cycle United event will be Saturday, Feb. 18.

Bonanza planned

A bonanza to benefit the Habitat for Humanity Women Build program will be Saturday, Feb. 18, at Williamsport Fire Hall.

A home-style buffet dinner by Leiter’s Fine Catering will be served at 6:30 p.m. along with soft drinks and keg beer.

There will also be tip jars, raffles and a silent auction. The first ticket drawn wins $10, the 50th ticket drawn wins $50, the 100th ticket drawn wins $100, the 150th ticket drawn wins $150 and the last ticket drawn wins $1,000.

Those attending must be 21 or older to enter and no outside alcohol is permitted. Tickets cost $40 per couple. Doors will open at 5 p.m.
