The festival will feature a bounce house, big bounce sliding board and dunking tank.
There will also be carnival games with prizes, candy jar contest, face painting, removable tattoos and balloon animals.
Admission costs 50 cents.
The menu will include hot dogs, hamburgers, wings, french fries, popcorn, cake, apple candy, cotton candy, snow cones, soda and water. As an added bonus, there will be a fish fry sponsored by The Sons of Zion.
Senior Pastor the Rev. Rickey A. Smith and church members invite the community to the festival.
The Washington County Community Action Council food pantry and Zion Baptist Church’s It’s Not About Me Ministry are partners in the event.
Program kickoff
Friday will be the kickoff for the program for adult residents at Bethel Gardens. The event will be held from noon to 2 p.m. in the community center.
The event is part of the third phase of the Crime Free Multi-Housing Program.
All adult residents are invited.
Movie night
Bridge of Life Church, at 14 S. Potomac St., will host movie night Saturday at 7 p.m.

Meeting planned
The Neighborhoods 1st Medal of Honor Group will meet Thursday, Sept. 6, at 7 p.m. in the Bethel Gardens Community Center.
Aerobics class
The “I’ve Got the Power” aerobics class begins Thursday, Sept. 6, at the Bridge of Life Church, 14 S. Potomac St. in Hagerstown
The sessions will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
The classes will include aerobics and strength training for women of all levels and ages.
