7. Searching For Spirits Inside Torrington's Warner Theatre

October is THE month to get the bejesus scared out of yourself. Most of us head into it blindly, totally unprepared for what lies on the other side of the curtain. There's paranormal prep-work to be done, so head to Torrington's Warner Theatre on Friday for Ghost Hunters Live with Jason Hawes and Steve Gonsalves, from Syfy's number-one-rated paranormal television series, and bone up. They'll regale you with tales of supernatural dealings and freaky encounters all evening long, or go early in the day (11:30 a.m.) for the RiseUp Paranormal CT, a four-hour interactive ghost hunting tour that takes aim at the spirits who live in the Warner Theatre itself. That's a full day of prepping for what might be the most important event of your life: meeting this guy (pictured) in a dark alley somewhere.
