Valley Pride, Inc. is seeking 32 temporary Field Workers (Romaine Lettuce Harvest) to harvest romaine lettuce in fields located in Westmorland, CA. Contract period: December 11, 2012 thru February 9, 2013. Wage offered: $10.24/hr. Group incentive piece rates apply depending on crop activity. 3/4 of the work hours guaranteed. Tools & equipment are provided at no cost to the worker. Free housing is provided to workers who cannot reasonably return to their permanent residence at the end of the work day. Transportation & subsistence expenses to the worksite will be provided or paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract or earlier.
