Newt Gingrich received an endorsement Monday that drew confused applause from his supporters in Nashaua, New Hampshire. Todd Palin, Sarah's husband, called Gingrich to say he would endorse him and speak out on his behalf.
While Gingrich said he was "honored" with the endorsement through his Twitter account, it leaves one wondering how low Gingrich will go to try and appeal to the Tea Party.
A recent poll by CBS News shows 58% of Republican voters disapprove of the current group of GOP nominees. With the candidates embracing endorsements from Alaskan dog-sledding husbands of failed vice presidential candidates, it kind of makes sense.
