ARLINGTON, Texas – The Marlins made two roster moves after Friday's 15-5 loss to Texas at Rangers Ballpark.

Pitcher Brad Hand was called up from Double-A Jacksonville and will start Saturday, and reliever Ryan Webb was put on the 15-day disabled list to make room for Hand on the roster.

This is Hand's second stint with the Marlins, and he is 0-3 with a 3.45 ERA in his three starts. The 21-year-old lefthander did not pitch badly, but his starts came during the Marlins struggles in June when they went 5-23.

Hand is 7-2 with a 4.15 ERA with Jacksonville.

Webb, who is 1-4 with a 3.67 ERA in 35 appearances, has right shoulder inflammation.

"I just hurts to throw a baseball right now," Webb said after the game.
