Where are they now?

PHILADELPHIA — Front office staffers in charge of amateur scouting and player development, such as Marti Wolever and Joe Jordan, spend more time sleeping in hotels than their own bedrooms. Scouts find themselves in uncomfortable ball park seats analyzing players more often than they do lounging on a cozy couch watching television with a glass of wine close by.
