You all know who Steve Guttenberg is. He's the guy from Diner, Police Academy and Three Men and a Baby. Well, he's going to be visiting the Avon Theatre to promote his new memoir The Guttenerg Bible (heh), which documents his early days struggling in Hollywood, when he would sneak onto the Paramount by pretending to be Michael Eisner's son. To round out the event, dinner will be provided by Lucky's Classic Burger & Malt Shop, and then the theater will screen Diner, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, followed by a Q&A with the man himself.
The Avon Theatre, 272 Bedford St., Stamford. Tue., June 5, 6 p.m. $25-$35, includes signed book. (203) 661-0321 or (203) 967-3660, avontheatre.org.
