Palm Beach Gardens Dwyer senior Patrick Miller, one of the top offensive tackle prospects in the nation and a Sun Sentinel Super 11 selection, has verbally committed to LSU, according to Dwyer assistant coach Paul Meunier.
The 6-foot-7, 280-pound Miller selected LSU over Miami and Auburn.
Miller, who is ranked No. 14 in the Orlando Sentinel's Florida Top 100 is ranked by Rivals.com 23rd best offensive tackle in the country. He is ranked 217th nationally overall by Rivals.
He said he intends to graduate early and enroll at LSU in January.
Dwyer (1-1) defeated Jupiter 32-8 on Saturday night in a game that was postponed by rain Friday.
Miller actually committed to LSU Head Coach Les Miles last week after LSU's win over Oregon, but didn't want to go public until after he visited LSU this weekend, according to what his father Tom Miller told TigerBait.com.
That visit, of course, was put on hold by the game postponement to Saturday from Friday night.
