UCF announced new season ticket options on Thursday, including a $99 option for both young alumni and the general public, and $49 youth tickets available in the north end zone.
There were no ticket price increases from 2012 to 2013, and the new $99 ticket options create an overall price drop. UCF also will not have student season tickets. Students will be able to enter a game for free with their student ID.
Recent graduates of UCF – Class of 2009 through Class of 2013 – can purchase $99 season tickets, with seats in the north end zone or in six sections on the east side of the stadium behind the visitors bench. The general public can also purchase $99 season tickets for five sections in the north end zone. Those tickets were $140 last year.
The $49 youth tickets, also located behind the north end zone, provide a more attractive entry-level option for families who want to attend the game, according to UCF senior AD for external operations Zack Lassiter.
“We have our best home schedule ever,” Lassiter said. “But we don’t feel that should be on the backs of our season ticket holders.”
Young alumni were limited to section 231 last year, but now can purchase tickets across 20 sections.
UCF will open the season at home on Thursday, Aug. 29 against Akron and will host South Carolina on Sept. 28. They will also host Rutgers, UConn, Houston, and South Florida in their inaugural season of Big East play.
