    <span style="font-size: medium;">Bernard &ldquo;Bernie&rdquo; Hall, 79, of Summerset, passed away April 7th, 2013 in Rapid City, SD. Bernie was born in Lead on February 26th, 1934, to William and Hazel (Ames) Hall. He grew up in Lead and graduated from Lead High School in 1952. He served in Korea for the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1958. Bernie graduated from Black Hills State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1970 and he taught for Meade School District 46-1 for eleven years. After teaching he worked for the Lawrence County Highway Department in Deadwood until he retired at the age of 58.</span>
