  1. Geography bee winners

    The Potomac Heights Elementary School geography bee was held Dec. 21. The 10 participants were Colin Boyes and Cooper McChesney, fourth-graders; and Amanda Askin, Jonari Carroll, Camden Casey, Cole Graham, Samantha Gronholm, Layne Hammond, Nell Humphries and Courtney Reed, fifth-graders. It was a battle to the finish with Casey coming out as the winner and Gronholm as runner-up.
